Recycled polyamide is often made from waste, like fishing nets or post-consumer nylon waste (like carpets and tights). Conventional polyamide doesn’t break down easily and the production process is chemical-, water- and energy-intensive. By recycling polyamide you prevent that the waste ends up in landfill or the ocean. Recycled nylon is certified with the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or RCS (Recycled Content Standard).
